India Likely to Make Major Changes for 5th T20I; Bhuvneshwar and Varun in Contention

India are expected to make several changes to their playing XI for the fifth and final T20I against New Zealand, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shivam Dube and Varun Chakravarthy reportedly in line for returns.

According to the latest team updates, India could bring back experienced campaigners Bhuvneshwar and Varun as they look to strengthen their bowling combination for the final match. Their potential inclusion would add experience and variety to the attack.

Prince Yadav and Nitish Kumar Reddy are likely to miss out, while Shivam Dube is expected to return to the playing XI. Dube's inclusion would provide India with another batting option and additional medium-pace bowling support.

Abhishek, Vaibhav and Sanju Likely to Form Top Three

India are also expected to make changes to their top order. Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav and Sanju Samson are reportedly in contention to occupy the first three batting positions.

The combination could give India an opportunity to assess another opening and top-order arrangement ahead of future international assignments.

Naman Dhir, who featured in the previous match, is reportedly likely to be rested for the series finale. His possible omission would make room for changes in India's batting combination.

Varun Chakravarthy and Bhuvneshwar Kumar Could Strengthen Bowling Attack

The possible returns of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Varun Chakravarthy are among the major talking points ahead of the match.

Bhuvneshwar brings experience with the new ball and his ability to swing the delivery, while Varun offers a different challenge through his mystery spin. Shivam Dube's return could also provide the captain with another bowling option.

India have already secured the series, but the final T20I offers an opportunity to test combinations and finish the tour strongly.

The final playing XI will be confirmed at the toss. Until then, these changes should be treated as expected selections rather than official team announcements.
